This year Broadway celebrated out composer Stephen Sondheim on his 80th; out Broadway composer Jerry Herman will be feted at The Kennedy Center. Out composers/lyricists John Kander and Fred Ebb have a new Broadway hit (despite the fact that Ebb died several years ago).
