This Week’s Trivia Quiz: The Tony Awards

1. Question: Name this composer who has the most Tony Awards (more than any other composer) to his credit. His musicals have included stories about: fairy tales, bachelors at a cross-road, and aging showgirls losing their minds.

2. Question: While several actors have received Tony Awards for cross-dressing characters, only two have received Tony Awards for playing a character of the opposite sex. Name them. Hint: One is an out man who made his musical theatre debut in a divine role. The other, who was bi, played a high-flying character, followed by a an alpine nanny.

3. Question: Name this out Broadway baby, who is one of two individuals to receive Tony Awards in four different categories. His Tonys include Best Actor in a Musical, Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, Best Choreographer, and Best Director of a Musical. He’s a tap master and a tall order.
