2. Question: Name this out American television anchor and reporter, best known for speaking out as a victim of sexual abuse at the hands of a priest. He came out at the National Lesbian and Gay Journalists Association conference in 2006. His career has included stints at CNN, Entertainment Tonight and Inside Edition.
3. Question: Name this Asian-American Peabody Award-winning television journalist who is one of the few out reporters on national television. He started his career at the Washington Post. Terrence McNally is one of America’s leading out playwrights; the Kennedy Center just concluded a festival of his works, and he married his longtime partner this week, with Tyne Daly serving as one of his witnesses. His works include portraits of the gay community, popular fare, and controversy.
1. Question: Name this diva. McNally wrote two plays about her. In one, a group of gay guys discuss an obscure recording. In the second, the diva gives a few high notes to her students. Answer: Maria Callas. “The Lisbon Traviata” gave Nathan Lane a breakthrough role; “Masterclass” has starred Zoe Caldwell, Faye Dunaway, Patti LuPone, Dixie Carter, and Tyne Daly in various productions.

Terrence McNally is one of America’s leading out playwrights; the Kennedy Center just concluded a festival of his works, and he married his longtime partner this week, with Tyne Daly serving as one of his witnesses. His works include portraits of the gay community, popular fare, and controversy.

Terrence McNally is one of America’s leading out playwrights; the Kennedy Center just concluded a festival of his works, and he married his longtime partner this week, with Tyne Daly serving as one of his witnesses. His works include portraits of the gay community, popular fare, and controversy.
